Turf Evolutions is proud to provide an alternative choice to the more environmentally taxing grass we grew up with. Artificial grass has fast become the green solution for the 21st Century. Unlike its “natural” counterpart, it requires no water, fertilizer, pesticides or air-polluting mowing equipment. It allows greens and fields to be enjoyed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Additionally, its maintenance costs are minimal to none when compared to those of "natural" grass.

Natural grass vs. Synthetic turf

Natural Grass:

Depletes fresh water and reclaimed water sources. The average lawn uses between 20,000 and 40,000 gallons of water per year.

Pesticides and fertilizers can end up in ground water and surrounding waterways, which can be dangerous to children and pets.

Mowing and maintenance uses fossil fuels and omits pollution, ten to thirty times the amount of an automobile. Gasoline emissions and yard clippings are large contributors to the greenhouse effect.

Synthetic turf:

Products saves millions of gallons of water every year

TE uses recycled tires as an infill component so that old tires do not end up in landfills

Nitrate levels in the water table can be kept at bay by using no fertilizers or pesticides

Rivers and streams can be kept cleaner because no fertilizers or pesticides will “runoff” our land into water sources.

Rooftop Gardens, Amenity Decks and Medians

Turf Evolutions’ products and systems are ideal for rooftop areas where natural grass is very difficult to grow and maintain. It provides a lightweight green solution that can be used for play and leisure, turning bland hardscapes into lush green turf areas.

Urban areas such as courtyards, pet runs, and road and parking lot medians are areas where Turf Evolutions can provide environmentally friendly products that remain functional, but require no water and minimal maintenance.
